EN10025 S355J2+N has the higher Tensile of 510 N/mm to 680 N/mm and a Yield of 355 N/mm , depending upon thickness.
The higher strength together with the similar weldability and cutting properties make it an ideal alternative to S275JR when weight savings of up to 30% can be achieved.
The additional low impact test properties of -20 Deg C make this specification of interest where final product is to be used in cold or exposed locations.
